DJ Khaled appeared to be mortified when a twerking woman appeared during his Instagram live-stream - begging her to stop before cutting her off from the feed.

Khaled, 44, had been hosting an Instagram live for fans on Sunday 3 May, chatting to fellow musician Timbaland about how things have been during lockdown.

He then decided to give followers a chance to get in on the action, inviting them in to share the screen with him.

However, things got a bit awkward when one woman in a tiny bikini top and shorts appeared and suddenly started twerking, at one point even rushing off to get some water to pour over her derrière.

The DJ, whose real name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, looked shocked as the woman joined the chat, throwing his hands in the air and exclaiming: "Oh s***! Oh s***!"

As the woman positioned her rear towards the camera and began to twerk, Khaled begged her to stop, saying to the camera: "No, no! Don't do that!"

But, ignoring Khaled's protestations, the anonymous woman went to fetch a water bottle - which she proceeded to empty over her backside.

"No, it's all love," Khaled, who has two children with wife Nicole Tuck, continued.

"I've got a family. I've got love."

Covering his eyes, he pleaded: "Just talk to me normal. Talk to me normal. Don't do that."

Eventually, Khaled gave up and cut her from the live feed, saying: "Nah I can't. I can't."

The whole experience clearly stuck with the artist, who later posted the footage on Instagram as a cautionary tale to others.

He wrote: "I have love for everyone please take it easy when I'm on fan luv ig luv. Again I have love for everyone please lets be respectful nothing but love BLESS UP."

Referring to rapper Tory Lanez' recent venture, one fan commented: "This girl thought she was on Quarantine Radio."

A second added: "This is hilarious."

Another said: "Smart man bro, don't want the wife upset during lockdown."

Even Snoop Dogg was amused by the whole thing, commenting with three crying-with-laughter emojis.

If you want to watch Khaled's chat with Timbaland without all the unnecessary twerking, the conversation has now been uploaded to his Instagram in several parts.
