Drake Bell Changes His Name On Social Media To Drake Campana
Drake Bell has changed his name on social media to Drake Campana - with that new surname being the Spanish word for bell...
The 34-year-old actor and musician has reportedly moved to Mexico and has been working on Spanish songs.
However, it looks as though this is solely for appearances on social media and he hasn't actually changed his name - on 20 November he posted a video as part of a promotion with custom celeb video service Cameo in which he introduced himself as 'Drake Bell'.
The former Drake and Josh star hasn't spoken about his new moniker, but in November 2019 he tweeted to explain to fans that his social networks would only be in Spanish, adding 'no more English'.
Some people were a little confused by the move, with one taking to Twitter to write: "Drake Bell changing his name to Drake Campana and only making music in Spanish and tweeting only in Spanish is maybe the weirdest thing to happen this year."
Another added: "Nothing is more confusing to me than Drake Bell changing his name to Drake Campana, moving to Mexico and only speaking/singing in Spanish."
A third said: "Finding out that Drake Bell changed his name to Drake Campana and is doing music in Spanish is honestly what I needed to get through the week."

Another person wrote: "I'm sorry but finding out Drake Bell deada** changed his name to Drake Campana, moved to Mexico, and only sings and speaks in Spanish is not only funny as f***, but it feels like I'm in a fever dream lmao. Hands down the weirdest and funniest s*** to happen in 2020."
Last year, Drake hinted that there might be a Drake and Josh reboot. I wonder whether he's changed his mind...? Unless Josh Peck can speak Español, that is.
Drake Bell was walking the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Awards when he was asked what he was working on at the moment and a D&J reboot was certainly on the cards.
He told People: "We're working on something. I'm excited. I think we have a great idea.
"[The show] is going to be way more creative, way cooler than just you know the college years or something like that.
"We knew that if we were ever going to come back, it's got to be something cool. I'm excited to see what the fans think."
