They may have stopped us going to pubs, but lockdown has taught us that people can overcome physical barriers in their pursuit of drinking and socialising. Drake demonstrated this perfectly as he downed shots while helping to smash the record for the most viewers on an Instagram Live.

The Canadian rapper - who is currently self-isolating in his mansion in Toronto - joined fellow rapper Tory Lanez on his live show dubbed 'Quarantine Radio'.

The 33-year-old said: "I am checking in on Quarantine Radio from the Northside, coming live for all the ladies and all the gents."

Asked how he was keeping 'corona-free', he joked: "A glass of wine keeps the Rona away, boys."

After joining the stream, live viewers jumped from around 140,000 to 310,000 viewers, smashing Taylor Swift's previous record of 150,000 viewers, according to Urban Islandz.

To celebrate, Tory (real name Daystar Peterson) and Drake (real name Aubrey Drake Graham) downed some liquor as record-breaking numbers across the world watched on.

The pair seemed to enjoy themselves.

The rapper made headlines earlier this week after he shared photos of his son Adonis.

Former porn star Sophie Brussaux, who now works as an artist, gave birth to Adonis in 2017. His famous father took two paternity tests and opted to keep his son under wraps.

Adonis' existence was kept a secret until fellow rapper Pusha T released a diss track outing him for being a father, leading to Drake opening up about his son on album Scorpion.

He released his new double album on Apple Music and mentioned being a dad on three songs - 'Emotionless', '8 Out of 10' and 'March 14'.

In 'Emotionless', he raps: "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid." He also makes reference to kissing his 'son on the forehead' in '8 Out of 10'.
