Ed Sheeran has officially confirmed he has married long-term girlfriend Cherry Seaborn.
The couple announced their engagement back in January 2018, but have remained fairly illusive about their official status, despite various hints that they have tied the knot.
During an interview with iHeartRadio, he was asked about the lyrics of 'Remember the Name', specifically the verse that says: "Watch how the lyrics in the songs might get twisted / My wife wears red, but looks better without the lipstick."
Sheeran then explained that he'd written the song before the two wed, but knew that by the time the song was released they'd be husband and wife.
"It was actually before me and Cherry got married and I knew that we'd be married by the point that the song came out," he said.
"[I thought] Someone's gonna hear that and be like, 'Oh, they're married!' I didn't know how that would be construed, but obviously it's already come out."

The couple have been together for several years, but their friendship actually goes back much further.
The couple first crossed paths at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, Suffolk, where it's believed Sheeran had a crush on hockey player Seaborn.
The pair finished secondary school together, but Seaborn soon jetted off to the States to attend Duke University in North Carolina, leaving Sheeran on British soil - where, of course, he would soon become a global megastar.
Eventually the two were reunited and their romance was rekindled, and it was at the beginning of last year that Sheeran announced their engagement.

Sharing the happy news on social media with a loved-up snap, he revealed: "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx."
Since then, we'd had no official confirmation of a big day, but Sheeran has dropped some hints for us.
During an interview with Access, Sheeran was asking about his wedding details, and whether or not he had picked a date.
However, instead of simply dismissing the question, he gave a little shrug and a knowing smile, sheepishly pointing to a silver ring on his wedding ring finger.
The interviewer took the response as a confirmation Sheeran had married his long-term sweetheart and began to congratulate him, before asking how the star managed to 'sneak that one'.
"Well, I never do anything too public anyway," Sheeran replied.
Sheeran, you sly dog.
