This is the prank video that got former Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr banned from TikTok for 24 hours:

The clip shows an elderly woman turning a corner on her bike before hitting the bonnet of the car with a dash camera attached to it.

Tom and his dad, Tom Malone Senior, then filmed themselves in the car pretending it was in fact them who collided with the woman.

Tom Senior is behind the wheel and can be heard shouting: "Oh you k***head. Jesus Christ. Is she off the bonnet?" Before Tom Jr replies: "She's gone. She's gone."

Tom Senior then says: "Right, get the reverse... get out of here mate quickly. Don't tell your mum."

Posting the clip on to his Twitter account, Tom wrote: "I got a 24 hour ban on @tiktok_uk for this video. So I hope you guys enjoy it," and posting it to Instagram he added: "(no grans were harmed in the making of this video)." Phew.

The video on Instagram has received nearly 15,000 likes while most people have been tagging their pals in it for a laugh.

Some were struggling to see why it got him axed from the video sharing platform at all, with one person writing: "So funny I have seen worse don't know why it got you banned."

Another added: "Can't believe you got banned," while someone else wasn't as surprising, sharing their own experience: "My 14 year old has been banned so many times we have lost count!"

Back in February, Tom announced that he would be leaving Gogglebox after appearing on the show for six and a half years.

Tom, who stars alongside his family from Manchester, delivered the news to his followers on Instagram, sharing a picture of himself standing in Manchester's Northern Quarter holding a sign that reads: "Back on the market. Get at me with any TV work."

He wrote: "So after 6 and a half years it's finally time to put down the remote, and to say goodbye to Gogglebox.

"I've loved every minute and I'm eternally grateful to @channel4 and @studiolambert for allowing me to be a part of the show. But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it's time to explore them."
