Fans Think They've Spotted Selena Gomez In the Reflection Of Chris Evans' Piano

Fans are convinced they've spotted Selena Gomez in the reflection of Chris Evans' piano, after he posted a video of himself playing a 'rainy day' tune recently.

To get you up to speed, a portion of the internet are convinced that Gomez, 29, and Evans, 40, are secretly dating. I mean, stranger things have happened, but the supposed evidence is slightly on the flimsy side.

Earlier this month, people noticed that the Captain America star was following Gomez on social media. So far, so normal, right?

A photo then surfaced supposedly showing the pair 'leaving the same restaurant', according to a fan account for Gomez. However, E! News later debunked that one, confirming that the snap was actually from November 2017, when they left a pilates studio in Los Angeles. Romantic.

Now, the saga continues with a new development, after fans spotted who they think may be Gomez in one of Evans' recent social media videos.

Evans had posted a clip of himself tinkling the ivories, captioning the vid: "Rainy day activities."

Eagle-eyed fans then clocked what they think is the reflection in the piano of a mysterious brunette woman, with one TikTok user writing excitedly: "Is that Selena?!"

In their own video, they added: "[WHO'S] THE BRUNETTE FILMING BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER CHRis?!"

Someone else said: "Wait can this be true please."

Another wrote: "Omfg I never noticed it."

Others noticed another interesting detail, with one commenting: "For me it's wearing the hair ties on his wrist. I just think about him putting up her hair I'm throwing up."

The original poster replied: "I'm crying."

Some people, however, weren't quite so convinced, saying the observation was a 'reach'.

"I don't see anything," someone wrote, adding a crying-with-laughter emoji.

Another said: "It's 100% the lid that covers the keys. It's a black gloss lid, you can see the wood end of it and it's showing a slight reflection."

Someone else agreed: "It's called the piano lid. You know the thing that covers the keyboard."

The device filming the footage also appeared to remain incredibly still in the original clip, suggesting it had been propped up somehow - although I could, of course, be underestimating Gomez' steady hand.

Maybe don't go out and buy a hat just yet...
