When allegations against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein were gathering pace, other people started coming forward with their own victim stories of misconduct, harassment, sexual assault or even rape.

As those stories came to light, another anecdote made its way into the news and gave people a bit more faith in the film industry.

Film critic Nell Minnow revealed Friends star David Schwimmer made sure to have another person present when he suggested going to his hotel room to conduct an interview because the restaurant was too loud.

It was decidedly different from the horror stories of vulnerable men and women being taken advantage of in private rooms.

Well the The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story actor isn't letting that be his only 'Good Guy' story and has organised a new initiative called #ThatsHarassment. The series of short films aims to build on the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements which have taken the world by storm.

While no one needs a specific reason to launch a project like this, the 51-year-old says the inspiration to get it off the ground comes from a dark place. Speaking to Today's Megyn Kelly, Schwimmer says he saw his mum victimised while he was growing up.

The six clips are between three to five minutes long and focus on different scenarios which have become all to familiar to people keeping up with the shocking stories from the #MeToo movement.

The films are called The Doctor, The Photographer, The Boss, The Actor, The Coworker and The Politician; and they demonstrate the subtle and not-so-subtle forms of harassment seen every day.

There's no shortage of decent actors in the films as well, with Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire), Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City), Michael Kelly (House of Cards), Cristela Alonzo (Cars 3), Grace Gummer (Mr Robot) and Joseph Sikora (Power) to name a few.
