Are Margot Robbie And Jaime Pressly Actually The Same Person?

Considering we live in a world with 7.6 billion other people, most of whom have eyes, a nose, ears and a mouth laid out in a similar arrangement, it's hardly surprising that some of us end up looking more than just a little similar to each other.

However, this hasn't stopped the people of the internet from being astounded by Australian actress Margot Robbie's striking resemblance to My Name Is Earl star Jaime Pressly.

Robbie recently made a return to the screen as disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding in the biopic I, Tonya and fans were quick to spot the similarity.

One posted: "Oh my god it just hit me that Margot Robbie is young Jaime Pressly I feel like my eyes have been opened to the Hotness Matrix."

"Has anyone CONFIRMED that Jaime King and Margot Robbie are different people?" another asked.

Another confused fan queried: "But like, Margot Robbie and Jaime Pressly are the same person just in different lighting right?"

Some fans hadn't even realised they were watching Margot Robbie when they went to see I, Tonya.

"I got halfway through I, Tonya before realizing that it was Margot Robbie and not Jaime Pressly tbh," one fan confessed.

"I had to explain to someone this weekend that Margot Robbie & Jamie Pressley are not the same person. They really wanted to see that I, Tonya movie with the lady from My Name is Earl," another wrote.

But it's nothing new to Jaime Pressly. The mother-of-three has previously addressed their similarity in 2016, joking that Margot looked like her and not the other way around.

When photographers asked whether she'd noticed that she looked like Robbie, she replied: "Right, right, well that would be she looks like me."

I, Tonya has been snapping up awards like nobody's business, but it wasn't all plain sailing for Robbie.

The 27-year-old revealed that she got so caught up in the role that she began to lose her grip on reality at times during filming.

At one point, she even punched her on-screen husband in the head.

Shetold Grazia: ''I had lost my mind. I genuinely thought we were these people and we were off the set, running down the street screaming at each other and the cameras are running after us. I think I was screaming something about needing to go to hospital because my hand was broken.

''It wasn't, but I was so caught up in the moment. And Sebastian was like, 'Margot, where are you going?' He went to pick me up because I was continuing to tear down off set and I turned and punched him in the head."

Despite the film crew being forced to stop the cameras because they were so freaked out by her behaviour, Margot claims to have actually found the whole thing pretty exhilarating.

''A few times I've genuinely thought I wasn't on set and that I was that character in that time and in that place," she told Grazia.

"To truly forget there's a camera in your face is really hard. When it does happen, it's really exhilarating. I don't know if it's because you're so tired when you're filming you're almost delusional.''
