Here's How Much The Young Stars Of 'Stranger Things' Earn

I can't be the only one to think they're worth every cent?

The long-awaited second season of Stranger Things is finally here, and with the end of the last season leaving so many unanswered questions the Netflix show is bound to be as big a success as last time. I'm actually a bit gutted I didn't book the day off work so I could binge the whole thing, to be honest.

Part of the show's appeal is the fantastic acting from the show's young cast: Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin, who have been absolutely everywhere since the show's release last year.

The previously unknown child-stars of the show have shot to mega-stardom in the past year - I think once you've been turned into Pop! Vinyl, you can safely say you've made it - and I reckon they've all got bright futures ahead.

Bright and lucrative futures.

Although not quite earning the sort of money that some popular US TV stars are picking up (the cast of The Big Bang Theory reportedly earn $1 million/£759,400 an episode), it's safe to say they won't need to be asking for an increase in their pocket money any time soon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast were paid $30,000 (£22,785) per episode for both seasons one and two. Earning them a not-insignificant $240,000 (£182,280) for season one and $270,000 (£205,065) for season two, because there's one more episode in the second season.

They were also handed a 'bonus of less than six figures' when Netflix realised what a massive success the show had been. Not bad.

And if all that's not enough, it's also been reported that the stars will be asking for an increase for season three. Well, who can blame them? You don't ask, you don't get, as my mum says.

Stranger Things racked up 18 Emmy nominations, so it certainly looks like Netflix has got its money's worth from the cast.

The third and fourth seasons have already been shot, according to The Hollywood Reporter, because show-makers were worried about the kids going through 'awkward adolescent transitions'. Ah, I remember that time well, do you?

The ENTIRE second season is out on Netflix on 27 October. Woohoo!
