Here's What Reese From Malcolm In The Middle Is Doing Now

Probably not what you were expecting from him career-wise.

If his antics on Malcolm In The Middle were anything to go by, you could be forgiven for thinking that second oldest child and Malcolm's principal tormentor Reese, probably hasn't done much with his life.

However, in reality, the guy who played him is a rather successful businessman. Who'd have thought, eh?

Last time we saw actor Justin Berfield in his role as dim-witted, constantly-scheming Reese, was in the last series of the show when he was working as a janitor and living in a bachelor pad with Craig. However, Berfield's character's career path couldn't be further removed from his own.

The former actor, now 30-years-old, is the co-founder and chief creative officer of Virgin Produced, the film and television development, packaging and production arm of Sir Richard Branson's sprawling Virgin empire.

Ever seen that ridiculous safety video on a Virgin America flight? Yep, that was him.

On the website, Berfield's bio reads: "As Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at Virgin, Berfield oversees a full service development team responsible for the packaging and production of commercial quality film, television and digital short form content that is reflective of the Virgin brand.

"Also overseen by Berfield, Virgin Produced launched the Virgin Produced Channel which is seen on board Virgin America, Virgin Australia and in Virgin Hotels."

As well as working for Virgin, Berfield spends much of his spare time doing philanthropic work with various charities and posting photos of massive fish on social media.

His on-screen brother in the show, Frankie Muniz, has also been busy outside of acting.

Muniz, who played Malcolm, first dedicated more time to writing and producing as the show was coming to an end.

However, being a big petrol head, in 2006 the actor signed a two year contract with Jensen Motorsport. A year after that, and after the show that made him famous finished, he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, so he could further his career as a driver.

When his contract with Jensen Motorsport expired, he jumped ship to Pacific Coast Motorsports, and while there he won the Jovy Marcelo award, an accolade bestowed upon the driver who best exemplifies the sportsmanship spirit of Marcelo, a driver who died after a motoring accident in 1992.
