Remember the day when Trump was inaugurated? Yeah, many of us can't forget - but one of the many, many question marks surrounding that day was the mysterious gift that Melania awkwardly handed Michelle.
Well, the former first lady has finally spoke out about what it was, revealing all while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Turns out that inside that signature blue Tiffany box was a 'lovely frame'. How lovely, indeed.
You'll no doubt remember the day purely based on the memes that came out of it - with Michelle's expression coming across as a bit of a side-eye, or even Jim Halpert from The Office, who's known for looking helplessly into the camera.
In her first interview since leaving the White House, Michelle joined Ellen DeGeneres as part of the host's 60th birthday double-episode special - due to be aired on 1 February.
As footage from the historic day rolled on the screen behind her, Michelle explained exactly what happened - revealing she was left wondering what the hell she was supposed to do with Melania's gift.
"Well, there is all this protocol," she said. "This is like a state visit so they tell you they're going to stand here, and never before do you get this gift, so I'm kind of like: 'OK... What am I supposed to do with this gift?'"
Luckily, husband Barack was on board to 'save the day'.
"Everyone cleared out and no one would come and take the box. And I'm thinking, 'Do we take the picture with it?'"
"And then my husband saved the day - see, he grabbed the box and took it back inside. But everybody cleared out. No staff, no one. I was like, what do you do with the box?"
Michelle's no stranger to Ellen's show, having previously shown several times that she's game for a laugh with the presenter.
In 2012, she helped promote an anti-obesity called initiative Let's Move by competing against Ellen in an on-screen push-up competition - which was, of course, just as amazing as it sounds.
Then in 2015, she also took part in a dance-off on the programme, showing off her moves to the sound of 'Uptown Funk' with Ellen and choreographers fromTV show So You Think You Can Dance?
She even co-hosted in 2016, in an episode that featured a sketch where Ellen took Michelle to CVS to prepare for life post-White House.
On Thursday, however, Michelle will be appearing in front of an audience filled with people who are paying it forward as part of Ellen's #OneMillionActsofGood campaign.
