Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf has reportedly been taken into custody in Georgia, USA after an alleged boozy night out.

The 31-year-old, according to TMZ, was arrested at 4am for disorderly conduct, obstruction and public drunkenness.

It's unclear what he was doing or where he was in the American state at the time of his arrest, but he is reportedly still in police custody.

But his run-in with the law is not a new thing for the actor.

His first arrest came in 2005 when he was still a teenager. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after threatening his neighbour by driving into his car. Two years later LaBeouf was asked to leave a Walgreens in Chicago, but he refused. He was later arrested for criminal trespassing but the charges were dropped a month later.

He had to fork out $500 (£387) for a smoking violation in California in 2008 and was involved in a car accident later that year. A vehicle running a red light smashed into Shia's car in Los Angeles and despite him being the victim, he was arrested for drunk driving and had his licence suspended for a year because he refused a breath test.

That crash crushed his left hand, which required several surgeries where he had several pins and plates inserted.

LaBeouf was also arrested but later released following an alleged fight at a bar in LA. Three years later he was banned from The Local Peasant restaurant for urinating on a wall.

It was alleged in 2014 that he spat on officers arresting him at New York's Studio 54 theatre during a showing of the musical Cabaret. According to the Daily Mail, hours before that incident, the 31-year-old got into a fight with a homeless person, and was the next year arrested again for public intoxication.

Following this incident, he started seeking help for alcoholism, with his publicist saying: "Contrary to previous erroneous reports, Shia LaBeouf has not checked into a rehabilitation facility but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction.

"He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery."

He was most recently arrested in New York at his art exhibition 'He Will Not Divide Us' for shoving a man at the Museum of the Moving Image.

His next movie appearance is in Borg/McEnroe where he plays the infamous tennis legend John McEnroe.
