Tom Hanks is proper Hollywood royalty. He's won two Oscars, four Golden Globes and an armful of Emmys. His career has seen him starring in some hard-hitting movies like Saving Private Ryan and Philadelphia, as well as childhood classics such as Big and Toy Story, but despite all that, he seems amazingly down to Earth.

He also does a pretty mean impression of Clint Eastwood:

Hanks' humble ways were shown, again, at last night's Golden Globes, when the actor, 61, was seen fetching a trayful of drinks for his table while at the swanky awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Rather than bother a member of staff to get some martinis, Hanks rocked up to the bar and carried the (slightly wobbly) tray of drinks back to his pals, including Steven Spielberg, showing that he's the sort of humble fella you'd have a good night on the piss with.

I guess spending all that time stranded on an island in Castaway has taught him to be more self-reliant?

People loved seeing Hanks getting a round in:

Don't you just really want to go out on the lash with Tom Hanks right now?

Hanks was nominated for a best actor award for his role in The Post, but lost out to Gary Oldman in Darkest Hour. Still, he wasn't going to let that stop him have some fun at the free bar, was he?
