Game of Thrones star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson - aka The Mountain - and his wife Kelsey Henson have revealed they're expecting a baby boy with a gender reveal that they shared on Instagram.

Sharing photos from the gender reveal on social media, Björnsson wrote: "Swipe right to see gender of the mini me!"

In the series of photos, he and Henson popped a large balloon to reveal blue confetti.

The 6'9" Icelandic actor towers over his 5'2" wife, who he met when she was working as a waitress at Earls Kitchen + Bar in Alberta. She asked him for an autograph, the pair hit it off and now here we are with a baby en route.

After the duo revealed they'd be welcoming a 'mini Thor' into the world, congratulations came flooding in through social media from fans and fellow celebs alike.

However, Henson revealed on her Instagram Stories that not all of the reactions have been positive - saying some 'sad little people' had decided to use the happy moment to troll them.

Henson said: "Regarding out recent gender reveal post... We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who sent us their congrats and well wishes, thank you all very much we appreciate you all.

"Unfortunately there will always be those people who have to make a joke out of something and comment on either our sex life or the size of the baby in comparison to me, etc, even on posts such as these which are supposed to be special huge life changing moments for us.

"Then there are just sad little people who are obviously so unhappy with their life that they have to comment 30+ negative comments about our unborn child."

Henson then shared several screenshots showing examples of the trolling from one particular follower, adding: "We will not tolerate people speaking absolute trash about our unborn child. So a big [swearing finger emoji] to this person. Just an FYI his comments have been deleted and he has been blocked from our accounts."

She later continued: "I know I shouldn't give people like this the light of day. Mostly these people are seeking attention, but I'm only human and occasionally someone will get under my skin. Especially where my unborn child is concerned.

"Deleting his comments and blocking him is the best thing to do and is what we did! Anyone who presents himself/herself this way will be blocked! You've been warned.

"Also although this guy has gotten under my nerves, I have tough skin and I'm a positive person! People can try to bring me down or ruin my day but at the end of the day you create your own happiness!! Stay positive and move on."

What's that your mum always said? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all... Huge congratulations, guys.
