We recently found out that Gemma Collins is harbouring a secret sex tape, and that she'd be up for sharing it - but that it would come at a cost, as she reckons it's worth £1 million ($1.3m).

Well, it turns out if she sold it for that hefty sum, it may not actually work out for the better in the long run.

Hayley Smith of Boxed Out PR thinks she should probably be a bit careful, as it could damage or even 'halt' her fame - even though that legendary fall of hers arguably did quite the opposite:

"My concern is that Gemma said she wanted to do this for body positivity reasons - there are better ways to do it," Hayley told the Metro.

"Last week, I had a meeting about the immigrant situation in the US, and the role of influencers in world issues like this.

"If you really want to showcase body positivity, I would suggest you really think, as an influencer, the kind of messages you want to be putting out."

Smith reckons Gemma would do better to 'respect your following' - while some might be on board with her bold move, others might instead 'desert' her altogether. It could also affect the endorsements she's currently working on with brands, which may not necessarily want the negative press of a sex tape scandal.

Smith continued to explain: "If this happens, Gemma may lose more money than what she gains from the sex tape sale."

She added: "She may well damage established and helpful relationships, which could halt her fame and progress."

Gemma, 37, had told the Sun she stripped off and whipped out her iPhone to record her and her fella going at it, so she could look back on it in the future.

"I have actually made a sex tape and it's very good, if I do say so myself," she told the paper.

"I just made it because I was in love with my partner and I really fancied him, and always wanted to look at it again. It is on an iPhone somewhere in my house."

She even went on to say that she reckons her tape could compete with Kim K's tape infamous one with rapper Ray J.

"I do feel my sex tape would knock Kim K off her pedestal," she added. "But I'd need a million for it."

She added: "I know people would enjoy it. And I'd enjoy the money because I could go on holiday for a year."

I mean, screw the brand endorsements and fans' judgement - going on holiday for a year sounds absolutely mint.
