Sam and Chloe from Geordie Shore may not be known for their scientific prowess but that's not stopped them coming out to say that they believe scientists are 'lying' and that the Earth is actually flat.

You don't know who the hell we're on about? Oh, well here's one of 'em in action:

You may not be that well-acquainted with the cast of Geordie Shore these days, given that they're now onto season 18. But it probably won't come as any surprise to learn that we've got some flat Earth-believers in our midst.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Sam revealed that he had a bit of a theory about why he thinks the Earth is actually flat.

The 21-year-old said: "I'm being deadly serious... if the world was round then when you flew to Australia you'd have to go at a downward angle. But it doesn't."

And it wasn't just Sam who believed it, either. Girlfriend and co-star Chloe was also in agreement, chipping in: "I think the scientists are lying. They lie. The world is not round."

Wow. Just, wow.

The stars also grabbed attention for all the wrong reasons recently when a bit of a Photoshop fail appeared on Sam's Instagram.

He'd shared a sunny snap of himself and Chloe on a boat, but fans were quick to spot that something was a little off about the photo - with a noticeable blur around Chloe's derriere.

Fans branded the image the 'worst Photoshop ever', with one writing: "Bad days when your arse blends into the sea."

Another said: "Are u serious? Photoshop gone wrong."

Someone else commented: "Why are you photoshopping your girlfriend's pictures?!"

Another wrote: "Love the fact that the pole behind her arse is bended and that her ass blends with the sea..."

However, some stuck up for Chloe, saying that we shouldn't be feeding into the body-shaming culture.

Defending the photo, one person wrote: "Wish everyone would pipe down and wind their neck in for hating. Why is it any of your businesses?

"The girl is stunning. She's happy in her body and it's not yours so leave it out. Hate seeing people comment this toxic shit. Grinds my gears and can't imagine what it does to them."

Another said: "Women should be empowered not brought down we are all beautiful one way or another."

Still, though, that's a pretty bad bit of Photoshopping...
