​Gino D’Acampo And Daughter Hit Back At Trolls Who Say Their Relationship Is ‘Weird’

It looks like Gino D'Acampo has had enough of the trolls, having shared a new year message to them on Instagram along with his daughter Mia - who also flipped her middle finger to the haters.

Back in November, the TV chef received backlash online after he posted a video of he and seven-year-old Mia in bed cuddling, with internet users branding the scenario 'weird'.

One Instagrammer commented: "She could at least have a top on I'm really sorry but it's not our fault we think the way we do. The world is just so messed."

Hitting back, D'Acampo shared a video on Instagram captioned: "Something to think about... I wish you all a Happy New Year."

In the clip, the 43-year-old says: "Last time I put a picture of me and you in bed giving kisses and cuddles a lot of people they thought it was weird.

"I thought it was nice, because we were cuddling and I love you so much."

Mia than asks him: "Why did they think it was weird?"

Her dad replies: "I don't know, they are the weird ones, nothing wrong with daughter and daddy cuddling in bed right?' What shall we say to these weird people?"

At that point, Mia throws her middle finger up towards the camera - a fairly universal sign, if ever there was one.

D'Acampo laughs: "Mummy's going to kill you!"

Instagrammers flooded the comments with praise for the father-and-daughter duo's message, with one writing: "Good girl!! People that think this is weird are the actual 'wronguns'."

Anyone who found the image even remotely weird would probably struggle with D'Acampo's amusing anecdote about a particular Christmas gift, which he revealed in the recent Christmas special of Gordon, Gino and Fred: The Three Unwise Men.

Driving along in their camper van, D'Acampo initially asked Gordon Ramsay to tell them about the most expensive Christmas present he'd ever received.

But before Ramsay got the chance to respond, D'Acampo butted in: "My one, if I tell you, you won't believe it. My wife went to an auction for charity. For £3,700, one pubic hair from Madonna."

Fred Sirieix - who you'll recognise from First Dates - bluntly asked 'what?' before Ramsay said: "That's disgusting."

And Gino wasn't done there, as he went on to proudly announce: "It comes in a transparent box in a nice frame."

Pointing to Gordon's hair, he added: "It's a little bit like your colour."
