Gordon Ramsay doesn't seem to mind being stuck inside during the coronavirus outbreak - he's put his time to good use by absolutely nailing the TikTok dance craze.

The top chef appeared alongside his daughter Tilly where he joked that the dance's song, which contains the lyrics 'juice, sauce and a little bit of dressing', could help inspire budding chefs.

Gordon, 53, and Tilly, 18, were both laughing while trying to take part in the viral craze, and celebrated with a high-five at the end. Fair play to them, they both smashed it.

The short clip has been viewed more than 4.2 million times in less than 24 hours and has been flooded with comments from fans praising him for his moves.

Gordon and his family - wife Tana and children Megan, 22, twins Jack and Holly, 20, Tilly, and Oscar who is almost one - are social distancing at their UK home as the coronavirus outbreak continues.

On Friday he closed the doors on all his UK restaurants, following a new guidelines from Boris Johnson.

Announcing the news on Instagram, he wrote: "To all our Gordon Ramsay family, friends and colleagues.

"In this time of great uncertainty, we hope that you all are looking out for each other and staying as safe as possible.

"As the situation changes daily our focus has to be on the health and safety of our employees, guest and community and to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus, from Saturday 21 March 2020, all our London restaurants will temporarily close.

"Whilst we don't know when we will re-open, what we do know is by supporting each other through this terribly challenging time, we will come through this stronger than ever!'

"Huge love and thanks to our amazing staff across the restaurants for all their passion and support. I truly hope we are all back together very soon. Gordon."

Speaking yesterday, Johnson reiterated how vital it was to continue with social distancing, saying: "Take this advice seriously. Follow it because it's absolutely crucial.

"We have to slow the spread of the disease."
