Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about the less than glamorous side of fame, including the time a group of men attempted to take a photo of his penis while he was using a urinal.

Lovely.

Clarkson's been on our screens since the 80s and is now a household name, but being so well-known has its drawbacks.

The former Top Gear host said he's regularly approached when he's out and about by 'usually good-natured lads' which isn't a problem.

However, Clarkson went on to say that sometimes people can overstep the mark.

Writing in his Sun column earlier this month, Clarkson said: "If I walk past a building site, or a pub, I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be surrounded almost immediately by a gang of young men shouting, 'One photo. One photo'.

"I could be on my way to a funeral. Or an important meeting. But it doesn't matter.

"They never take 'no' for an answer and often, things turn mildly physical."

Revealing one particularly bizarre fan interaction, he added: "I was once accosted at a motorway service station urinal.

"A group of guys seemed very determined to take a photograph of my penis.

"And there's no point using the cubicles instead because if they know you're in there, camera phones will soon appear under the door and over the side of the stalls." Yikes.

The 61-year-old is currently starring in Amazon Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, which is vastly different to previous work on Top Gear and The Grand Tour.

The series sees Clarkson trying to make a go of it on his farm, which he's named Diddly Squat.

Clarkson is the first to admit that he knows very little about farming, leading to one particularly grim moment during lambing season.

He told LADbible: "So she [the shepherd] said, 'Put your hand in there and see if you can feel a leg.'

"So I put the James Herriot rubber gloves on, and in I went. She said, 'Can you feel the legs?', I was going, 'No I can't,' she said, 'Go a bit deeper.'

"The sheep's looking at me like, 'What on earth are you doing?'. And then I couldn't feel the head, I couldn't feel anything, and then I said, 'How many holes does a sheep have at the back?'

"It turns out it's two, and I was in the wrong one. And the sheep - even to this day - every time I go in the field I know which one it is, 'cause it looks at me in a very odd way... She was trying to give birth and was being anally fisted."
