Glee actor Heather Morris has paid tribute to her former co-star Naya Rivera by saying she's going to do 'something every day' to honour her friend.
In an emotional Instagram post, Morris recalled fond memories she'd had with Rivera, who tragically drowned accidentally while out on Lake Piru in California with her young son.
Morris, who starred in Glee as Brittany Pierce alongside Rivera's Santana Lopez, wrote: "The messages are going to trickle out. But you're still here with me. And I'm not done remembering your legacy.

"You would tell me 'You look so skinny' EVERY TIME you saw me and it made me giggle slash I loved it and when I told you how it made me feel... You said 'Well I'd always like to hear that I look skinny so I make sure to make others feel good like that'."
The 33-year-old continued: "We had a play date in the works for this week and I can't wait for it to be over so I can stop thinking about how I missed our chance to be together.

"I f***ing loved how you drank martinis and no one would know you smoked cuz you were a mastermind at hiding it.
"I'm doing something every day to honor your strength and it helps me to feel close to you. I love you Nay."
The post was accompanied by a photo of the two of them smiling together.

Rivera, 33, went missing on Wednesday 8 July after renting a boat with her four-year-old son, who was found alone sleeping at around 4pm.
The child was unharmed and told investigators that he and his mum were swimming, but she never got back into the boat.
At the time, Ventura Police confirmed the missing person was the actor, with officials later confirming that her body had been recovered from the lake.
Sheriff Bill Ayub said: "Our hearts go out to Naya's many friends and fans who have been holding out hope for the last few days."

He added there is no indication of foul play or suicide.
Ayub explained that there are several currents that can pop up in the lake, especially in the afternoon, saying: "The idea perhaps being that the boat started drifting, it was unanchored, and that she mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat, but not enough to save herself.
He added: "We know from speaking with her son, that he and Naya swam in the lake together at some point during their journey. It was during that time that her son described being helped into the boat by Naya, who boosted him onto the deck from behind.
"He told investigators that he looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water."
