The 'human Ken doll' Rodrigo Alves has already had 60 cosmetic procedures and spent over $500,000 (£371,050) in an attempt to look like the world's most famous plastic hunk.
But now the London-based 'worldwide television personality' has gone a step further, becoming the first man to have four of his ribs taken out in a bid to obtain a more Ken-centic 26-inch waist.
According to the Sun Online, Alves underwent the operation at the Los Angeles clinic of Dr. Michael K. Obeng, with the procedure being live-streamed on the surgeon's Instagram account. Eurgh.

"Our first male #RibRemoval @rodrigoalvesuk the verdict is out if Rodrigo is the first gentleman to have his #ribs removed!" the clinic posted on its social media channel.
"Watch our #Live #Feed to #Witness #History!!" they added. Somehow we think they might be over-egging it a bit.
One gruesome image of the op showed Rodrigo's ribs on a table in front of him while he took a casual snap with his phone. Sounds like a Hannibal Lecter dinner to me.

Apparently the 34-year-old Brazilian wanted to have two more ribs removed before doctors told him it could affect the function of his lungs. Because, y'know, ribs are there for a reason.
"On Sunday the ribs are coming OUT," Alves told the Sun, the caps apparently his own. "Once they've been removed they'll be sent off to a cartilage bank."
There's a good reason for Alves to keep hold of his removed body parts - he can always use them again to help with another procedure or a reconstruction. Unsure they can pop them back in though.

Last year, Alves told the Sun that he wanted three ribs removed from both sides of his rib cage so he could have a thinner waist.
"If I have my ribs removed I'm gonna have a classic figure," Alves said. It's going to make my waist tiny so I can wear elegant, nice blazers."
"I have had friends that have done it before - it's not a simple procedure but it can be done."

So far Alves has spent a bomb in pursuit of the 'perfect' male physique, getting nose jobs, silicone chest implants, eight pack abs and more.
Yet going by what he's told Italian TV, once he gets too old to be a convincing Ken Alves plans to reverse the lot and have a sex change, becoming a human Barbie doll instead.
Alves cited being inspired by Caitlyn Jenner, who came out as a woman in her mid-60s and subsequently had gender reassignment surgery.

"I am very happy to be a man for now but I don't want to an old saggy man," Alves said.
"I will do what Caitlyn Jenner did. When I reach my late 50s, I would rather be a sexy old lady then a saggy old man."
Well, you can't fault Alves for his commitment to the cause.
