'Human Ken Doll' Rodrigo Alves Shares Snaps Of How He Looked Pre-Surgery
The man dubbed the 'Human Ken Doll' has revealed pictures of how he looked before he underwent surgery - and they show a pretty shocking difference.
Thirty-four-year-old Rodrigo Alves from Brazil has had over 150 cosmetic procedures and operations, spending an eye-watering £400k ($560k).
One of his more recent and bizarre operations was when he visited a top surgeon in Beverly Hills, California to have four ribs removed - all so he could look better in his blazers. Yeah - that's right.
Alves actually wanted six of his ribs out until doctors talked him down, saying it could affect the function of his lungs. If you've ever wondered what he looked like before these dramatic transformations, wonder no more.
Here he is as a fresh-faced little kid:
Rodrigo went on This Morning to explain his rib removal, telling hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "I visited three different doctors - two in Europe and one in America. They said I can only do four [ribs and not six as he wanted]. I chose the best doctor. I had the procedure. I'm very happy.
"My blazers have to be altered. I had to always have a bigger blazer and get it altered. I had four ribs removed so that I can do up my blazers without having to breath in or have my blazers altered. I have a 20-inch waist now. It can be a dangerous procedure, absolutely."
Speaking to the Sun, Alves added: "Now I've achieved my dream face and body I plan to stop the ageing process using stem cell technology.
"I've already had lots of them injected into my face, scalp and bloodstream.
The only things that I m going to take away from this amazing life will be places that I have been and people that I have met and #memories it is great to be in #india where I can #detox and clear my mind. Thank you #india for being so welcoming ! #retreat #spa #detoxing #newdelhi #delhi #rodrigoalves by @topman and #lv

"My aim to always look ageless and maintain my unique looks. After all, there is no other man or another Rodrigo Alves that looks like me.
"I get a lot of attention due to my artificial looks - but I finally love myself and that is the most important thing of all."
Alves documents his life, and his surgeries, on his Instagram account where he has 609,000 followers and attracts thousands on comments on all his posts.
Obviously, you can't please everyone and Alves has also come in for a lot of flak online from people who think he has taken his love of plastic surgery too far.
But Alves doesn't let them bother him, he told the paper: "I have become an official ambassador on the subject of body image and plastic surgery.
"I have been honoured by the Aesthetic Academy in the USA and from now on I am will be speaking openly about plastic surgery to break the taboos and to teach people from my own experiences in a simple and easy going way without medical terminology."
Live and let live, eh?
