In My Personal Space Challenge: Jamie Laing

Jamie Laing is the latest celebrity to have a go at 'In My Personal Space'

Nobody likes people getting in their face. It's intrinsically uncomfortable. We all like a bit of wiggle room, even if it is just the few inches in front of our nose. That's why the Wrigley's Extra In My Personal Space challenge is so enticing. Well, unless you're Jamie Laing, the latest celeb to have Tom Ward all up in his grill.

The concept is simple: comedian Tom Ward gets celebs just centimetres from his snozz and asks them a selection of awkward questions in an awkward situation, with predictably awkward (and hilarious) results.

Jamie has appeared in more episodes of Made in Chelsea than anyone else in the history of the show - closing in on 200 in the seven years since it began - and thus we've all had plenty of time to get to know him, but really, we've never seen him like this before.

If there was one person that we might relax our personal space rules for, Jamie Laing might be the one. He's an intrinsically nice guy. Sure, it might not take much to stand out as a good egg in the back-stabbing world of Made in Chelsea, where he made his name, but he's a decent bloke by anyone else's standards as well.

Jamie is a big wheel down at the cracker factory - not just a cheap Simpsons reference, as he is the heir to the McVities biscuit fortune - but has managed, despite his amazing wealth, to remain relatable: he attracted hundreds of positive responses when he opened up about his health issues, and has also put plenty of hard yards into charity campaigns.

Tom poses some real challengers to the biscuit magnate-to-be, putting Laing on the spot from just a nose-width away. Lucky that he had some Extra gum on hand to take the edge off it all. Well, not that we're saying that Jamie has bad breath, but y'know...they're inches away from each other, so anything is possible.Featured Image Credit:
