Today is the 59th birthday of the man thought to be the most obedient dad in the world, Phil Margera.

Over the years Phil has been subject to hundreds of pranks, which have mostly been filmed for our entertainment, by his son, Bam.

Rarely reacting to any, Phil became a character synonymous with Jackass and Viva La Bam.

However, April, Phil's wife, revealed that her husband only has himself to blame for Bam pranking him. April has suggested that it is her husband's influence that led Bam's prankster nature.

In an episode of Family Therapy With Dr Jenn, April said that Phil used to perform jokes on Bam and his older brother, Jess.

Bam said: "Like, when I was walking into my room, he'd be hiding behind the door , and then go 'blaaaaah', y'know?"

His mum then said that another joke that Phil regularly pulled may have left Bam traumatised and may have provided the reason for his obsessive pranking.

She told a story of which recalled when Phil would take Bam to 'Incinerator Road'. This was a 'scary, spooky road ', where he'd put his arm out of the car window and then hit the roof, telling Bam that dead bodies were falling on the car.

Bam then admits that the car journeys and Phil's practical jokes are the reason he persistently pranks his mum and dad.

I guess you've only got yourself to blame, Phil.
