Jada Pinkett Smith And Willow Smith Reveal They've Been Attracted To Women

Jada Pinkett Smith and daughter Willow Smith have revealed that they've both experienced romantic feelings towards women, having discussed their sexuality in a new episode of their Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk.

In their discussion, Jada posed the question 'If you've only been attracted to men, could you fall in love with a woman?', citing a study from Boise State University that found 60 percent of heterosexual women find other women sexually attractive.

Willow said she's found herself 'swooning' over women, as Jada told her she could see her 'falling in love with a woman one day'.

Twenty-year-old Willow said: "I've had my fair share of swooning and being like, 'Oh my God, she's so beautiful. She's so talented.'"

Mum Jada - who married actor Will Smith back in 1997 - then told Willow that she has also 'swooned a lot' over women, saying she had been infatuated with two women before.

The 49-year-old explained: "I've had two times I've been infatuated with a woman. I've swooned two times, early, early on - you know, like, 20."

Willow continued to say that, while she's never been in love with a woman, it's something she could see happening in the future.

She said: "I don't feel like I've been in love with a woman just yet, but I definitely feel like it could happen because I've had very strong feelings for women before."

Willow added: "That feeling that you get when you're with your sisters - that understanding and that acceptance and that softness, I feel like is very appealing, specifically to me."

Earlier in the chat, co-host Adrienne Banfield-Norris - who is Jada's mother and Willow's grandmother - said she'd thought about it, but 'never had that attraction'.

"I just couldn't get there, it just wasn't for me."

While Jada had spoken about previous attractions to women, she said she ultimately felt the same.

She said: "It wasn't for me, either. I love being amongst women but I never could connect to women romantically but that's not to say that it couldn't be, you just never know."

Adrienne explained that she'd grown up in a different time, where she didn't have the 'freedom' to consider certain elements of her sexuality.

"I just never allowed myself to even experiment with it," she said, adding that she'd always found the prospect of a threesome 'interesting'.

When pressed by her daughter what she meant by that, she said: "It just seems like sexually it would be extremely pleasurable!"
