Jared Leto hosted a Tiger King watching party while dressed as Joe Exotic. This self-isolation is really starting to get to some people, isn't it?

By now, you're probably pretty familiar with Joe Exotic, the gun-toting, mullet-sporting, tiger-cuddling polygamist, who has had viewers gripped in the new Netflix docu-series.

For anyone who hadn't yet seen it, Leto decided to throw a watching party and live tweet throughout.

Showing that he takes his viewing seriously, Leto dressed in an outfit that Joe would most certainly approve of and grabbed a tiger soft toy.

He started his tweets by admitting that he'd already watched the whole series before thanking Netflix for 'another incredibly well-made documentary'.

The actor and singer seemed to spot some similarities between his and Carol Baskin's dress sense...

Jazzy.

Leto then shared a more serious message tweeting: "For the record no one should keep these animals in cages like this. Not ok. We need to protect exotic / endangered animals and their wild habitats."

He's also fairly keen for he and band 30 Seconds to Mars to cover Joe's absolute banger 'I Saw A Tiger'. Do it.

Meanwhile fans were delighted to go on the Tiger King wild ride with Leto, with one responding: "This thing is a dumpster fire that I want to not watch but I also need to finish it."

A second wrote: "I watched the first episode and I'll watch all the episodes, even if I need emotional recovery at the end. It always strikes me that such people exist somewhere. It is good that today we can see what is best in people. Thank you for getting me out of my comfort zone."

While a third chipped in: "I thought I'd check this out, to see what all the fuss was... binge watched half the series in one night. "
