Jason Momoa Reveals He's Been Obsessed With His Wife Since He Was Eight

By now everyone knows who Jason Momoa is, thanks to his portrayal of Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.

People were big fans of his character's development on the HBO show, as he learned to love his wife Danaerys. However, away from his fictional romance, there's a heartwarming story about his real wife, Lisa Bonet.

Momoa and Bonet have been together for 12 years now, legally tying the knot last month. He recently revealed though, how he's been enthralled with the actress since he was eight, after he saw her on TV.

Rather weirdly he did admit to sort of stalking Bonet, only telling her that he'd been obsessed with her after they'd had two kids.

"Ever since I was like, eight years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, 'Mommy, I want that one,'" he told James Corden on The Late Late Show.

"I'm like, 'I'm going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I'm going to get you.' I'm a full-fledged stalker.'

"I didn't tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise, I'd be creepy and weird.

"But yeah, [I'd] just always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always."

Through mutual friends they eventually crossed paths in 2005 and hit it off, with Momoa even putting his hair into dreadlocks because she wanted him to.

Together they have two children, a daughter, Lola Iolani Momoa, and a son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. After marrying last month the GoT actor became the stepfather of Bonet and Lenny Kravitz daughter, Zoë Kravitz.

They tied the knot in front of their children at their home in Topanga, Los Angeles.

Talking about the night they met in a jazz club in New York City, he added: "We just happened to be in the right place at the right time,' he said. "I actually had dreaded my hair for her. I had dreadlocks, she had dreadlocks.

"I literally turned around and I see her and she goes, 'I'm Lisa'. I turned around to my friend and I..I had fireworks going off inside, man."
