Friends star Jennifer Aniston has said 'it's time' to find love again, having also revealed what she's looking for in a new relationship.

Aniston, 52, was previously married to actor Justin Theroux, having married in 2015 before separating two years later.

Before that, she also famously tied the knot with Brad Pitt back in 2000, divorcing in 2005.

While Aniston said there's not one special in her life just now, she's revealed she's ready to get back out there and 'share' her life with someone.

Speaking on Lunch With Bruce podcast, she said: "No one of importance has hit my radar yet but I think it's time.

"I think I'm ready to share myself with another."

But before anyone has any hopes of matching with her on Tinder or the celeb platform Raya, Aniston admitted she was an 'old-school girl' who has ruled out dating apps, and finds it 'weird' that 'people don't come up to people anymore'.

"No Tinders and no Rayas please," she said.

It seems initial impressions are fairly crucial for Aniston, who believes the first kiss is 'pretty important'.

She explained: "That, and also the ease at which the conversation flows the first time.

"That's kind of a good indicator.

"Confidence, but not a cockiness.

"Humour, please I beg of you, beg of you.

"Generous. Kind to people."

Aniston added: "You know... very few necessities required!"

Aniston also spoke about how fitness was a bit part of her life - and not just because of appearances.

She said: "Fitness is important and not just about like how you look.

"I want to be around here for a long time and not be in a wheelchair when I'm 80."

She went on to say she'd been in relationships for the best part of 30 years, but had enjoyed time on her own in recent years.

She said: "I didn't want to for a long time, and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple.

"I've been a part of a couple since I was 20 so there was something really nice about taking the time."
