Jennifer Lawrence Admits She's An 'A**hole*' To Her Fans In Public
When you're an action movie heroine as popular as Jennifer Lawrence, having the right distance between your private and personal life must be difficult.

Now, in an interview with Adam Sandler, the Oscar-winning actress has discussed how she handles meeting her fans in real life, admitting that she becomes 'incredibly rude' and turns into 'a huge asshole'.
The convo between Lawrence and Sandler came as part of Variety's 'Actors on Actors' series, in which the pair spoke about fans encroaching on their privacy.
"Once I enter a public place, I become incredibly rude," Lawrence admitted. "I turn into a huge asshole. That's my only way of defending myself." After all, no one wants to talk to an asshole.
The 27-year-old went on to reveal how exactly she acts, turning people away from her table and refusing selfie requests.
She even said she uses the excuse of telling starstruck fans that it's her 'day off'. I guess even famous actors are entitled to a break.
Lawrence said: "I'll see someone walking towards my table and just go..."
"...Or like, 'Can I have a selfie?' And I'm like, 'No!'"

"You know what sometimes I do? I go, 'It's my day off'. Like, if it's Sunday, I'm like, 'It's Sunday, I'm not working today'."
Lawrence also explained how the problem is even harder for comedians like Sandler because everyone 'assumes they're your best friend'.
The Hunger Games star even joked that she's 'fucked' when she goes for a stroll with her friend Amy Schumer.
"One of my best friends is Amy Schumer," Lawrence said. "I take my dog to the park all the time - Central Park. As soon as I meet her in the park, we're fucked!"
Lawrence's position was in stark contrast to Sandler's approach as he also gave some insight on how he treats his own fans.
The Anger Management star seemed to welcome the attention, even inviting them to hang out with his children.
"When I'm out eating, people do pull up a chair," Sandler admitted. "I sit them down, I feed them, I let them hang out with my kids."
"My life's nearing the end," the 51-year-old Big Daddy actor joked. "I want to meet as many people as I can."
After Lawrence recently experienced nude photos of herself being leaked online, it's easy to understand why she'd be a little wary of trusting random strangers who recognise her on the street.
I'm sure they won't like her any less for wanting respect for her privacy.
