Jennifer Lopez Fans Confused About 'Guy In Mask' Spotted In Selfie

When Jennifer Lopez posted a selfie in her gym gear on Instagram with the caption 'If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you', she was presumably trying to motivate her followers/show off her trim bod.

And it seems the photo did the trick, receiving almost 3 million likes and an abundance of flattering comments. However, some eagle-eyed fans were more concerned about an unexplained 'guy in a mask' they spotted in the background.

The apparent face can be seen just over the 50-year-old's left shoulder (well, her right shoulder actually, left as we look at it) with the man described by fans variously as wearing a mask, being bald, having a hand over his mouth and looking terrified.

Without any obvious explanation of who/what it might be, the comments on J Lo's post on Saturday soon became swamped with variations of the question, 'who is that guy in the background?'.

One person asked: "Why is there a man in the background with a hand over his mouth?"

Another asked: "WHO'S THE MAN LOOKING TERRIFIED WITH HIS HANDS COVERED IN THE OTHER ROOM BEHIND YOU LOL."

A third queried: "So are we not going to talk about the person behind her holding their mouth?"

There are many, many more comments along these lines, yet we have no plausible explanation.

Could it be some mystery dude snapped doing a sit up? Perhaps a friend or a personal trainer? Maybe it's a weird design on a T-shirt? Could it even be an optical illusion? Or perhaps we've all just lost it in lockdown and there's nothing there at all.

I suppose we may never know.
