Jimmy Kimmel Added A Snapchat Filter To Johnny Depp And Amber Heard's Apology To Australia

So that whole Johnny Depp-Amber Heard smuggling dogs into Australia thing finally ended yesterday.

The famous couple decided the best way to put all this behind them was to post an apology video online which was, in my eyes, one of the most arrogant things I've ever seen - you broke the law, deal with it.

It went a little something like this...

The law may well seem petty and it may well have been an honest mistake but those biosecurity laws are laws for a reason. Just because you're famous and have a private jet, it doesn't mean you're allowed to bypass them.

Anyway, that's just my two cents.

The general response to the 'apology' has been mixed, some finding it hilarious, some finding it disrespectful. And others finding it the perfect opportunity to make parody videos because it is so damn parodiable.

Jimmy Kimmel has the right idea...

And then there are the various other YouTube parodies...

And that is how this whole sorry episode will be remembered - stupid.
