Joe Rogan has made a dig at 'bizarre filters', saying they've been designed to 'steal' social media users' self esteem.
To prove his point, 52-year-old Rogan shared a photo his daughter had taken of him, which had been altered with a filter to make him look like a woman.
Writing on Instagram, he said: "If you wanna know how f***ed we are and how bizarre filters are and how distorted young women's expectations of beauty are, I present you this picture. This IS ME.
"My 10 year old daughter is laughing hysterically because she took a picture of my ugly chimp face making kissy lips and ran it through some satanic filter designed to steal women's self esteem through pure deception and f***ery, and this is the result."

Rogan added: "Protect yourself, my friends. The internet is trying to rob you of your happiness."
The podcast host also shared the original photo to show what he looked like before the 'satanic' filters were added, posing in the selfie with a pout.
"The original photo before the satanic filters," he wrote.

"The devil is real, ya'll."
This isn't the first aspect of popular culture Rogan has taken a swipe at - far from it, let's face it.
Recently, he also lashed out at the gaming industry, saying video games are a 'waste of time'.
Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast with fitness exper and businessman Joe De Sena, Rogan ranted about how games 'don't get you anywhere'.

He said: "Video games are a real problem, They're a real problem. You know why? Because they're f***ing fun.
"You do them, and they're real exciting, but you don't get anywhere. You [could be] doing something exciting and fun, or you could just be playing f***ing video games.

"Three years later you could just be that same kid, playing video games, waiting for the next whatever the f*ck game is...You're gonna waste your time."
While Rogan acknowledged that some people can make 'a lot of f***ing money' through video gaming, he argued that it doesn't compare to other pasttimes like martial arts.
He added: "Like martial arts, you can get obsessed with Jiu-Jitsu and three years later you are an elite Jiu-Jitsu athlete and you're entering into competitions and you're a purple belt and you're thinking maybe I'm able to open my own school someday."
