Kanye West cut short his headline set at The Meadows Festival in New York City last night after news came through that his wife, Kim Kardashian, was held at gunpoint by armed robbers in Paris.
Midway through his performance of 'Heartless', the rapper told the audience that he had a 'family emergency', which several fans captured on camera.
Kim was in Paris for a fashion event when the incident occurred in the reality star's hotel room in the French capital.

A Paris police officer confirmed that there was a robbery involving Kim but said that she was unharmed.
An investigation is now under way into the whereabouts of jewellery which was stolen and is said to be worth millions, as reported by the BBC.
Since the incident, new evidence suggests that there were as many as five people involved in the robbery.
The original spokesperson suggested that "two armed masked men dressed as police officers" had held Kim up "at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room".

In a later statement, the organisers of The Meadows Festival said: "Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set.
"We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close the inaugural Meadows Festival.
"Our thoughts are with West and his family."
That's one hell of a plot for the next series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
