Keanu Reeves has presented the stunt team from John Wick: Chapter 4 with £7,300 ($10,000) Rolex watches for their work on the forthcoming flick after filming wrapped.

The world's nicest movie star had reportedly been at Le Bistro Paul Bert in Paris with the four stunt workers - Bruce Lee Concepcion, Jeremy Marinas, Dave Camarillo and Li Qiang - on Saturday night.

It was here that he was said to have presented the team with brand new, personalised Rolex Submariners, a model that the company says is the 'first divers' wristwatch waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet)', first launched back in 1953.

According to Robb Report, Reeves went for the edition released in September 2020, Ref. 126610LN, which retails at £7,300 ($10,074).

The outlet says the watch features an 'Oystersteel case topped with a black unidirectional Cerachrom bezel, a matching dial with large luminescent hour markers, Rolex's signature cyclops magnifying lens and an Oyster bracelet'.

But the actor went one step further and had each of the watches engraved with a personal message for each stunt worker.

An inscription on the back of the watch said: "The John Wick Five."

Along with the crew member's name, the message added: "Thank you... Keanu... JW4 2021."

Images of the watches surfaced on social media, including a snap from Jeremy Marinas who said the present was the 'best wrap gift ever'.

Another post showed the watch on someone's wrist with the box displayed in the background, with a caption thanking Reeves.

According to reports, development on John Wick 4 began shortly after the third film - John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum was released in 2019.

Speaking to Collider last April, the film's director Chad Stahelski said that the creative team had set the bar much higher.

He said: "We submitted an idea or thematic [plan] and it was really big. So, we're talking about doing a little bit more than a [John Wick 4], or something like that, and trying to develop that."

He went on to tell the outlet: "I'm in a happy place where we are in development...we're in a place where we know what we want do and where we want to do it."

The film is due for release in May next year, with Reeves seen filming in Germany back in April of this year.
