Lil Nas X has caused controversy with his latest music video for song 'MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)' and it looks like he's taking in every second of it.

The musician has been slated by parents who are complaining and criticising him for 'riding Satan' and he's reminded them that their children were probably listening to 'Old Town Road'.

At one stage in the three minute video, the 21-year-old can be seen sliding down a ginormous pole right into hell and more specifically, right into the arms of Satan for a little lap dance. Judging by his thigh strokes, Satan doesn't seem to be phased.

One outraged Twitter user wrote: "You're riding satan in your new music video. You're proud of that?"

Hitting back at people on Twitter, Nas reminded them that his job wasn't to cater to people's children - I mean, he's got a point, no?

One person wrote: "The system is targeting kids. Lil Nas X's fanbase is mostly children. They did the same thing with Miley Cyrus after Hannah Montana."

He responded: "there was no system involved. i made the decision to create the music video. i am an adult. i am not gonna spend my entire career trying to cater to your children. that is your job."

Another commented: "I think the biggest problem for me is the fact he don't understand 'Old Town Road' is every kid's anthem. Children love him for that record. They tuned in and subscribed to his channels. So with no disclaimer he just dropped some left field ish & all our kids seen it. Smh."

Hitting back, Nas said: "i literally sing about lean & adultery in old town road. u decided to let your child listen. blame yourself."

So, let's take a look at the lyrics to Nas' earlier hit single: "I'm gonna ride 'til I can't no more." I mean... there we have it.

Then it goes on to say: "Riding on a tractor, Lean all in my bladder. Cheated on my baby, You can go and ask her.

"My life is a movie, Bull riding and boobies. Cowboy hat from Gucci, Wrangler on my booty."

We'll leave that with you.
