Just over a week into a new year and already beef between celebrities is heating up. This time, however, it's hopped in a time machine and has headed straight back to the noughties - remember Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton?
Back in the day, those ladies ruled the LA party scene - and if you add Britney Spears to the mix there'll be one thing that comes to mind. Yes, it's that photo of the trio together looking decidedly worse for wear behind the wheel of a car, and now Lindsay has decided to give her own account of that famous evening. Guess what? Things get awkward.
Some background, first of all - the circumstances surrounding the photo were always a bit of a mystery, but while being interviewed by Andy Cohen on Sirius XM back in December, Paris decided to give her side of the story.

When the socialite was asked about that night, she said: "Britney and I went out for the night... she [Lindsay] totally party crashed."
Paris added: "She just squeezed in and I didn't want to humiliate her in front of all the paparazzi and be like, 'Get out of my car,' so I was like, 'Whatever.'"
When Lindsay appeared on the same show on 7 January, however, host Cohen couldn't resist asking for her side of the story.

The 32-year-old didn't seem as keen to talk about the whole thing as Paris had been, explaining: "I haven't even seen her [Paris] in years.
She added: "Let's just pass on. I'm not here to talk about Paris."

Of course, Andy didn't back down, persisting with: "But she made it seem like she didn't even know how you got home that night."
The former Mean Girls star had a pretty quick comeback - while throwing some subtle shade at Paris, she said: "Maybe she doesn't remember it. End of story."
Yeah, like we said: AWKWARD.
Fortunately the tense atmosphere dissipated slightly when they came to suggestions that Lindsay should've hand glided out of Paris' house, and in response she explained that she's actually an avid sky diver. Well, there you go - the more you know, eh?

Looks like any bitter feelings between the pair are unlikely to be laid to rest any time soon - in July last year, Paris threw some more coal on the fire when a montage of old paparazzi videos resurfaced on Instagram, illustrating the early stages of their ongoing row.
Paris evidently saw it, because her official account replied: "Pathological liar" - a comment seemingly aimed at the former child star.
Things got shadier when she was asked about the comment while on the red carpet and said: "Just saying a fact. Fact of life."
Well, what's the world of celebrities without a feud or two?
