Louis Theroux is best known for taking on the sort of controversial topics that many other documentarians shy away from, and oh, how we love him for it. But now there's a new element to add to his many talents - turns out he makes a lovely-looking lass.

How do we know, I hear you ask? It's all thanks to Snapchat and its new 'gender swap' filter (obviously, duh) - seems we're all curious to know what we'd look like as a man/woman (delete as appropriate) and Louis is living proof following his recent tweet.

After sharing the picture of himself, people responded thick and fast. Some compared him to Big Bang Theory actor Mayim Bialik, aka Amy Farrah Fowler - others weren't so keen, but the majority absolutely loved it.

One said: "Best photo on the internet ever! Twit twoo."

Another added: "This has made my morning".

It's not just Louis that's been having too much fun with Snapchat's new filter, either. One guy took it to another level when he set up a Tinder account dedicated to the female filter version of himself.

Jake Askew, from Norwich, UK, said he decided to set up the account because he thought he looked 'unreal' with the filter and it soon transpired that loads of blokes agreed. More than 1,650 'liked' his profile and he received between 300-400 matches. WTF?!? Here I am struggling to bag myself just one.

Jess (AKA Jake) proved very popular with the fellas on Tinder.

'Jess' - who is actually Jake - also revealed that lots of blokes got in touch to make some rather indecent proposals.

Speaking to LADbible, the 20-year-old said: "One chap asked 'Are you a piece of art because I want to nail you up against the wall'. Another talked to me about his 'pork sword' and one bloke simply asked me to 'sit on his face'. I didn't let anyone know about it, I'll keep em guessing."

Lots of blokes were a little too happy with what they saw.
