Love Island's Biggs Chris And Rebecca Gormley Confuse Fans With 'Yellow' Pool Water

A couple of Love Islanders have got fans talking after sharing snaps of themselves splashing about in some very yellow-looking water.

Biggs Chris and Rebecca Gormley, who appeared on the sixth season of the show, took to Instagram to show off some loved-up photos of themselves posing in a pool.

But followers were left feeling a bit grossed out after spotting that the pool's water looked a bit ike someone had been p***ing in it. Romantic, eh?

Posting the photos on his Instagram account Chris wrote 'Insta Vs Reality' showing one photo of them posing and looking beautiful and other of them playing about in the water.

Clocking the rather unusual hue of the water, one follower wrote: "Are you bathing in your own p***?"

Another follower added: "Someone's p***ed in that pool... a few times."

A third asked: "Why is the water so yellow please?" Your guess is as good as mine, mate.

Even fellow Love Island contestant Jamie Clayton couldn't help but join in, posting: "You two gotta stop peeing in the pool tho [sic]."

Season six was the first ever 'winter' edition of the popular reality show and it's turned out to be the only one fans will be getting this year, as ITV has announced it'll be postponed until next summer.

Confirming the news last month, a spokesperson for ITV told LADbible: "Love Island UK will return bigger and better than ever with an extended run in summer 2021."

While Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV, explained in a statement: "We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer, but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.

"In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that's now out of the question.

"We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safely is our prime concern and Love Island will be back stronger than ever in 2021. In the meantime Love Island fans can still enjoy all six series of Love Island on BritBox."
