Marilyn Manson has been accused of locking people into a soundproof room that used to be a vocal booth.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, moved into an apartment in West Hollywood that had a glass enclosure built in to the corner of a room.

According to reports, this would be used as a cell where he would banish women, which he called the 'Bad Girls' Room'.

It's not something that he's tried to hide either and, speaking to a magazine in 2012 about the room, he said: "If anyone's bad, I can lock them in it, and it's soundproof."

Ashley Morgan Smithline, who is suing him for sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment, claims to have been forced into the space which she estimates to be a similar size to that of a department store's dressing room.

She alleges he kept her in there for hours at a time.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, she said: "At first he made it sound cool. Then he made it sound very punitive. Even if I was screaming, no one would hear me.

"First you fight, and he enjoys the struggle. I learned to not fight it, because that was giving him what he wanted. I just went somewhere else in my head."

The investigative report goes on to claim his apartment was covered with blood, swastikas and clipped pictures from porn magazines.

One person told the publication 'there were vaginas everywhere', while another remembered a message above the bed that read: "AIDS".

It's believed the carpets, furniture and the rest of the decorations were black as well as the curtains which he kept closed nearly 24 hours a day.

According to a statement from Warner's lawyer, he 'vehemently denies any and all claims of sexual assault or abuse of anyone'.

In September, a judge dismissed a lawsuit from a woman who accused Manson of raping her, ruling that the allegations were 'not sufficient to invoke the delayed discovery rule'.

In a post on Instagram from February, Manson said: "Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.

"My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how - and why - others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth."
