Megan Fox has revealed that she made a pros and cons list to figure out whether it was a good idea to start dating boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly.

We've all been there - this isn't going to work for so many reasons... let me internally list all of those and make my decision. If anything, it's nice to know the Hollywood star is just the same.

The Till Death actor spoke about how her relationship began during an interview with Who What Wear.

She explained: "When I met [Colson Baker], I knew instantly that this is a soul I've travelled with before, that this was a soul-mate connection, and that there was a purpose here.

"There was my logical brain chiming and being like, 'This will never work for 101 reasons.'"

Interviewing Fox was Anna LaPlaca who went on to write: "She told me she even went so far as to make a pro/con list. In the end, her heart won out."

One of the concerns could have been the fact that 35-year-old Megan is four years older than 31-year-old MGK.

But she addressed this earlier this month when she told the haters to 'go f*** themselves' if they think she cares.

Speaking to InStyle, she said: "You want to talk about patriarchy?"

"The fact that he's four years younger than me, and people want to act like I'm dating a younger man. He's 31, and I'm 35.

"Granted, he's lived like he's 19 his whole life, but he isn't 19."

She then rightly pointed out: "No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger.

"Four years? Go f*** yourself."

Speaking about his relationship with Fox, MGK told The Howard Stern Show: "I didn't know what [love] was until me and her made eye contact. That's when I was like, 'Whoa.'

"I did fall in love for the first time. That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that. I definitely wasn't set up to believe that that's something that could ever exist."
