Former adult film star Mia Khalifa is auctioning off her trademark glasses to raise money for Lebanon, with all proceeds going towards the Lebanese Red Cross' 'tireless efforts' in Beirut following the devastating explosion last week.

Announcing that she'd be putting the glasses to auction via eBay, Khalifa said on Instagram: "The infamous Mia Khalifa glasses - auction. 100% of proceeds will benefit Lebanese Red Cross and their tireless efforts in Beirut.

"I'll be on IG live when the money clears to live stream the donation via wire transfer to LRC."

Admitting she's never used eBay before, Khalifa continued: "I'm just trying to get creative, there's always more that can be done and this felt like a cheeky way to raise funds and make sure the conversation and attention doesn't diverge from this crisis.

"Creeps are welcome, your money is just as green as ours.

"I'm putting the link in my bio for a few hours then changing it back to the Beirut Relief resources landing page. After that I'll house the links/posts in a pinned memory for ready access.

At the time of writing, the glasses have racked up a current bid of $92,100 (£70,521) from 168 bids, with 202 people also watching the item.

Khalifa said eBay had removed the original auction when it reached $100,000 'for reasons now cleared' with the auction site, but added that the current campaign is being run with both eBay's and the Lebanese Red Cross' awareness.

The condition of the 'novelty glasses' is listed on eBay as 'used and abused', with Khalifa explaining in the item description that she'll be signing them and will take a polaroid photo of her wearing them before sending them off.

The star has also been adding extra items to the auction 'every $25k raised', including a 'used sideburn razor', 'the loofa I've been meaning to switch out' and 'my retainer'.

"Anything for my country," Khalifa wrote on Instagram.

The auction finishes on Sunday evening, so if you've got a spare $93,000 lying around, what are you waiting for?!

If you don't have that kind of cash - or aren't in the market for any glasses right now - Khalifa also reminded fans that they can donate directly to the Lebanese Red Cross.
