Gigi Hadid publically laid in to soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump during the opening monologue of last night's American Music Awards (AMA).
The fashion model was co-hosting the AMAs alongside the former Saturday Night Live cast member, Jay Pharoah, when the spot-on impression came out. She announced that she had been working on her debut Melania impersonation 'all week'.
Here it is...
The model pouted the best Melania accent she could produce and said: "I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children Sasha and Malia."
Through squinted eyes, Gigi's stunt mocked Melania's Republican National Convention speech that lifted material from a former speech given by First Lady Michelle Obama.
Here's a clip from that famous speech that CNN reported as plagiarism.
While her impression was arguably spot on, many believed that the dig at the future first lady was a tad cheap.
But others, albeit the minority of Twitter users, found the funny side.
Considering the shot lifespan of a runway model these days, I think Gigi's definitely showing some potential as a look-alike model career. Who else would like her to impersonate?
Waiting with bated breath to see whether or not Donald Trump will respond, or vote in our poll for that matter.
