Liam Gallagher And Skepta Could Share The Stage After Bonding On Twitter

Their bromance is slowly growing.

The sight of Liam Gallagher and Skepta on stage together, spitting some bars in a grime cross rock and roll mashup, is a step closer.

The bromance between the two artists has blossomed even further after the pair realised that their birthdays are just two days apart.

The former Oasis frontman thanked all his fans for messaging him on his special day, before telling them 'life starts at 45'. Most people would consider turning 18 to be the coming-of-age moment, however you might have to wait a few decades in Liam's world.

But among the many, many replies to the tweet, Skepta reached out to the 45-year-old.

They revelled both being Virgos, which apparently denotes that they are 'typically analytical, kind, hardworking and practical' and they tend 'to worry often; they are shy and dislike being the centre of attention'.

Liam told Skepta to pop around to his place soon as he picked him up a birthday present, before asking whether he'd be keen to get 'up and down' during his tour. That could mean virtually anything, but whatever it is, the grime artist foreshadowed it could be a messy affair.

Their first online encounter happened back in May, when Gallagher tweeted: "Man like Skepta keeping it real got to stand for something as you were LG x."

Skepta responded to the praise, telling NME: "I feel like the Earth is a re-print of a re-print of a print of a re-print. There are people who take on different objectives and missions in life. When you grow older, there's a void - and right now I'm filling a space where a lot of old rock, grime, hip-hop, punk artists left a vacant space.

"I like that these places I'm taking of the people that I respect and these people before me...Of course they're respecting - they're in touch. Liam's in touch, bro. You can see. Not everybody really knows what's happening. It's a presence, it's apparent, I'm here."

The 35-year-old could have some competition on his hands after Liam appeared on The Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show. Gallagher told the host that while his eldest son was a fan of the 'classic stuff', he was more into grime.

Without skipping a beat, Mr O'Connell invited Gallagher to drop some grime lyrics and Liam obliged. After the quick verse he says: "Skepta, 'ave it, mate."

Liam has announced a huge tour of the UK and Ireland to promote his new album As You Were, and Skepta hasn't yet got anything booked during the majority of those dates.

So, we'll have to see whether the pair unite on stage to take their bromance to the next level.
