Craig David Hopped On A London Bus And Gave Everyone A Show

Thankfully the bus wasn't too packed as he busted out an acoustic rendition of '7 Days'

It's difficult to imagine celebrities using public transport like us mere mortals, but sometimes you might be lucky enough to be sitting next to an A-lister.

That's what at least a dozen people were treated to on their commute in London when none other than Craig David walked in.

Instead of heading to the back of the bus with a cap low enough not to rouse any suspicion, the 36-year-old did the exact opposite. Armed with a guitarist, David busted out '7 Days' in front of a bunch of passengers.

He's lucky he didn't try to do this during morning peak hour because that bus would have been packed AF.

People upstairs walked down probably thinking 'who the hell is this Craig David impersonator'.

DJ Nathan Dawe captured the moment and chucked it on Twitter, where it's been viewed nearly 400,000 times and liked by more than 16,000 people.

Whether it was staged or not, people seemed to enjoy seeing Craig David busting out a song or two on a random London bus.

It's not the first time Craig David was a man of the people as he seems to be a pretty decent bloke with his fans.

Following a show in Marbella, he bumped into two women at the airport who were on their way home from a hen party and were properly hungover.

Sarah Millican and Sarah Kershaw met the resurgent UK garage star by chance, probably expecting nothing more than a handshake and a selfie - however, the musician bought them muffins and Sprite to try and help shift their hangovers.

While that's pretty cool, it's child's play compared to a woman who relentlessly messaged the 'Walking Away' star to see if he would perform at her wedding.

Sophie McEvoy kicked off her campaign with a tweet saying: "Do you think if I tweet Craig David every day for the next 480 days he would perform at my wedding?"

Without fail, the Australian managed to keep hounding the singer until he was on a Brisbane radio show. As he was chatting about his career, the presenters brought up Sophie's mission and told him that she was actually on the phone waiting to speak to him.

He told the hosts: "I've been trying to keep it a lovely secret...but I will come through and do a little something for you on your wedding day."

Stunned, Sophie says: "Shut up, shut up! Are you being serious?"

Craig David revealed that plans were being made with Sophie's event planner, adding: "I was trying to keep it to the last day... but now we're on air I can't lead you on for any longer... it'll be a pleasure."
