If you're one of those people who gets pissed off when hashtags like #PrayForHarambe start trending on Twitter, time to drop the fucking attitude because this is serious right herre. (That double 'r' is 100 percent intentional).

As you may know already, Nelly is broke AF. Not Fiddy broke. Me the two weeks after payday broke.

The lyrical genius owes the Missouri Department of Revenue $149,511 in unpaid taxes and he was also hit with a $2,412,283 federal tax lien (a legal claim against your property when you neglect or fail to pay a tax debt) last month. That's a whole lotta dollar.

Apparently, he's working with the government to resolve these financial matters but, in the meantime, his loyal fans have been tweeting their support and encouraging people to stream his 2002 banger, Hot In Herre, to help him out.

According to Spin, the 41-year-old will earn between $0.006 and $0.0084 per Spotify stream which means he could then clear his debt and get back to his best. So you know what to do.

If you don't see why you should get involved and stream the damn song, ask yourself this. Did it or did it not help you go from a fridge to a freezer? Huh? Think about that. It's time to give back.

You couldn't save Harambe but you can save Nelly.
