Jonah Hill's rocked a lot of looks in his time - y'know, given that he's an actor and all that.

But his appearance this time is slightly more on the, er, biblical side... with many people saying he looks like a certain historic religious figure.
That's right, it's Jesus. He looks like Jesus.
Hill shared a photo of himself on Instagram, writing the caption: "2018 was... interesting... be safe out there everyone."
With his beard and long, blond hair, many people reckoned he was rocking the ol' Son of God aesthetic.

One person commented: "O my god it's jesus."
Another said: "Jesus vibes. I dig it."
Someone else commented: "You look Like Jesus... Hi my friend."
A fourth asked: "Jesus, is that you?"

Mind you, not everyone thought he looked like Christ. In fact, Instagrammers had many, many suggestions about who Hill resembled, ranging from 'Thor's other brother' and Jax from Sons Of Anarchy through to Gregg Allman and 'a BTEC Alan From Hangover'.
One person even dubbed him 'Jonah Cobain', referring to the late Nirvana frontman Kurt, while someone else thought he looked a bit like Tom Petty.

Another person simply said he looked like an auntie - which may be a simple remark, but pretty bang on if you ask me. That or just a massive hipster, let's face it.
It wasn't long ago that Hill unveiled the look in the trailer for new film Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot, a biopic based on a memoir of the same name about John Callahan, the quadriplegic cartoonist who became paralysed after a car accident.
With Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, Hill plays Donnie, the flamboyant and eccentric leader of Callahan's Alcoholics Anonymous group, who refers to the members as 'piglets'.
Apparently Hill had decided to channel the 'Tom Petty look' for his turn as Donnie, with director Gus Van Sant telling Slant magazine: "Jonah's character has an interesting introduction to the story. John first goes to AA after about a year after he decided to stop drinking. It's not really in the movie though.

"At some point, he just thought it was getting more and more difficult to stay sober and wanted to look for help at meetings. He was very nervous at first. When he finally went to the AA meeting he saw this guy who looked like Tom Petty and was cracking AA jokes. A leather jacket, long blond hair - that sort of guy.
"John had a bonding moment with him at that meeting because for the first time he realized there can be humor in AA. He thought it was comforting. And Jonah was very persistent on rocking the Tom Petty look."
Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot is out this May.
