Hollywood film star Eva Longoria has probably been to her fair share of posh restaurants. There's no doubt that she'll have eaten the best of the best all around the globe.
Yet when it comes to her 'favourite' Italian of all time what does she recommend? Pizza Express, baby.
Jack Whitehall revealed all during a chat with Jay Rayner on the food critic's podcast, Jay Rayner's Out To Lunch, where he explained how he found out Longoria's favourite Italian when the pair were filming BBC comedy series Decline and Fall.
Whitehall told Rayner: "She was great and really entered into the spirit of things but couldn't find a restaurant was quite up to the standards of Beverley Hills in Cardiff.

"Until one day she came on to set and she said: ''Oh my God, I've found it. I've found the most incredible little Italian, I went there last night. The owner, I think it's family-owned, he was so charming and I had the best pasta I have ever had anywhere in the world."
Rayner was eager to know what the restaurant was called and, thankfully, Jack didn't take long before getting to the punchline.
Mimicking Longoria's accent he went on: "'It's called . . . Pizza Express'. I promise you, she said Pizza Express and she'd been in a little Pizza Express in Cardiff and thought she'd found this incredible authentic Italian."

Poking fun at Longoria's comment, Pizza Express tweeted: "Listen to this brilliant podcast from @jayrayner1 and,30 minutes in, @jackwhitehall reveals the name of what Eva Longoria considers one of the best Italian restaurants in the world It's a small family-run place in Cardiff," followed by the wink emoji.
Speaking to the MailOnline, a member of staff at the Cardiff branch who also happens to be Italian, said: "I'm not surprised she liked Pizza Express.
"I'm from Naples myself and I can tell you that our food's authentic. Our ingredients are fresh and we have high standards. It's no wonder she thought it was the best Italian food she's ever had."
