Lead singer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis, has revealed that he saved the life of a baby while recording for a TV show.

The band had teamed up with James Corden for his show over in America, aptly named: The Late Late Show With James Corden.

While being interviewed on Radio X, Kiedis told the story - which was not shown on the TV show for obvious reasons.

He explained: "We danced off, we tied and then we were going to celebrate with some Mexican food on the corner. And a woman came out of her house, holding a child saying: 'My baby, my baby, my baby can't breathe!'

"We all ran across the street, the woman thrust the baby into my arms, the baby was not breathing and I thought 'I'm gonna try and do a little baby CPR real quick, see if I can get some air in this kid.' Tried to open the mouth, [it was] like locked shut."

Continuing, he described the moment he rubbed the baby girl's belly until 'bubbles came out of her mouth and her eyes rolled back into place'.

Unbelievable. What an awesome story. You can see the rest of the segment below.

Surely he deserves some sort of medal?!
