Having one of the most famous faces on the planet must certainly come with a bunch of cool perks - freebies, upgrades, not having to wait around in queues... the list goes on. But sometimes, it seems what celebs really want is to be able to pop out the house, go completely unnoticed and do the sort of stuff us mere mortals take for granted.

And so, to Rihanna who seemingly wanted to take a trip to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park without being papped.

The singer managed to head straight into one of London's busiest festive attractions, mill about amongst hundreds of others and even tuck into a massive hot dog and some churros all without being spotted by anyone. Impressive.

Her assistant and pal Tina Truong shared a number of videos on social media of herself and Rihanna, 31, walking around - in one clip, Rihanna can be seen holding a whopping bratwurst with her hood up and her face almost totally covered by a scarf.

Rihanna recently revealed that she'd moved to London, to be nearer to her Fenty beauty brand team who are based in Paris - her partner Hassan Jameel also lives in London.

Speaking to the New York Times about being out and about in the capital, Rihanna said: "When I go walking, I try to keep it a little incognito." Skills she's clearly honed over the years, if last Saturday's trip to Winter Wonderland is anything to go by.

Naturally, fans were pretty gutted they missed her, while others were delighted she was out and about in London.

One person took to Twitter to say: "Yo imagine rubbing shoulders with her at Winter Wonderland."

Another wrote: "Breathed the same air as Riri. In the same proximity. Honoured."

While a third chipped in: "Rihanna being at Winter Wonderland is something my British mind cannot put together."

Rihanna isn't the first pop star unable to resist the allure of a British Christmas market, just last month Christina Aguilera covered up in a baseball cap and hoody and paid a visit to the Manchester markets.

Similarly, to Rihanna, Christina, also managed to go unnoticed, but later shared a photo of herself on Twitter.
