Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively have, for ages now, provided the ultimate #couplegoals - regularly seen taking the piss out of each other for everything from baking to parenting.

But it seems there's a sentimental side to the couple, too, with Ryan recently revealing that he thinks being married to Blake is his 'best gig'.

Appearing on Entertainment Tonight, the Deadpool actor said: "Oh, I'm Mr. Lively 24/7. And I'm happy about it. It's great. It's the best gig."

Since becoming a dad to two daughters, James and Ines, Ryan said that he's been given a better outlook on life.

He continued: "It's so much better. Having a family means that you stop worrying about a lot of stupid things and you start focusing on the present.

"I remember how I used to get bored when people would show their baby pictures, and I wanted to jump out of the window after parents would show me baby photos on their phone displays."

Ryan added: "Since I've become a father though, I can't stop taking my own children's photos and showing them to my friends."

Apparently Ryan and Blake have decided it's essential to be 'present' parents, having made sure that their filming schedules rotate to ensure that at least one of them is around for the kids.

Ryan explained said: "It's not that difficult [to juggle]. We don't allow our film schedules to overlap and we are very conscious of being very present as parents.

"I come from a big family and so does Blake, and we both want to create a very warm and happy environment for our children."

Recently it transpired that Blake isn't scared to show her sentimental side, either, having recently been spotted at the Met Gala with a subtle but very sweet nod to her family.

There's no denying that she looked incredible in her striking crimson gown, which fitted the theme of 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination' pretty perfectly.

But it was her Judith Leiber clutch bag that proved to be the best bit of the outfit, featuring an ace little nod to husband Ryan and their two daughters, James and Ines.

Sure, if we could all afford to have the initials of our family bejewelled onto our clutch bags, then we'd all be the perfect parents, husbands and wives, but there we go.

Lively also coordinated her outfit to fit with the colour scheme of her husband's new movie, Deadpool 2, at the film's premiere.

OH, THESE GUYS.
